Thanks so much for all the info! I was just concerned that he wasn't associating going to the bathroom w/ outside... but today is day 4 and Luka is doing really well- about 1/3rd of the time outside. It seems he doesn't like going on cement and prefers grass! :) the other 1/3 he gets the puppy pad, 1/3 on the carpet (sometimes he just misses the pad and occationaly he messes the crate- which I think is more anxiety than needing to go.
Getting better at predicting his signs. I also found out his weakness- bananas! He LOVES them- and gets 2 slices everytime he goes in the right spot!
He really is a good puppy tho- listens very well. he had quite the panic attack this morning while in his crate. I was running errands and the tree trimmers came.
