I need help bad.......with the food

I am concerned. I am new to the site and have been reading that science diet is some crap. I thought it was good food. I have switched food so many times and need help on a good food for my pups. My male (2yrs) which is the oldest has been switched from nutro max to purina to innova to science diet. All those foods made his stool loose except Science diet. What should I do? He is really bored with the science diet and it is showing in his weight. I really want them to have a good quality food. I am willing to try something else because it is almost time to buy more food. Any help will be appreciated.

There are lot's of great - human grade kibbles out there. I myself have always used Wellness and just love it. That said, you could do a BW search for the "Whole Dog Journal". They have a list of high quality foods which they recommend. Maybe that will help you find a great food for your pup . Good luck!

Hi. I know it can be confusing with all of the foods out there! I had to take my Joe off of Innova because his stools were loose when he was on it too. He and our BT are eating Chicken Soup kibble and they just love it. Best of all, their stools are firm. Good luck.

We had problems with loose stools too until we switched them to Natural Balance. They're both doing great now. Good luck!

I know how confusing it can be! My dogs really love Natural Balance kibble. I have tired the Premium kibble, Duck & Potato, and Venison & Rice. I have never had a problem, and my boxer did well on ALL of them. They also LOVE LOVE LOVE the Natural Balance dog food rolls. I have also used Chicken Soup for the Dog Lovers Soul dog food, and Royal Canine Natural Blend, and they have done well on both of these. The only premium food I've ever had a problem with is Wellness (loose stools, licking paws, etc.), but I know a lot of people on here think very highly of it; I think it has great ingredients, just doesn't agree with my pups though :(
