Chris, so, so sorry for your loss. (((HUGS))) to you and your son as well. I will pray that God give you the strength you need at this most difficult time. I know that right now missing your mom is very intense, and you feel empty inside. Take comfort in knowing that soon you will not have to look for her...you will feel her in your heart. She will always be with you.
Perhaps grief counselling for both you and your son together will help you both through this. You are in my thoughts and prayers. May your mom rest in peace.

Thank you all for your prayers and kind words. We will be going to grief counseling, what Robbie saw is just so traumatic. I thought my 8 year old daughter was holding up too well, and last night she broke down and cried unconsolably for her Gramma. It breaks my heart to see them in such pain, and to try to be strong in front of them is very difficult. Mom always said take one day at a time, so right now that's what I'm trying to do, but it just sucks.

I do know how you feel as I lost my Mom February 1st, 2005 and the pain of it is still so real today. The only thing that keeps me going is knowing that she suffered so badly and that she has peace and rest and without pain now. My Mom and Dad has got to celebrate two wedding anniversaries together now since 1981, so that makes me smile. Sending you and your son {{{{{{{comforting}}}}}}} vibes and (((((((HUGS))))))) to help you through this. Not to diminish your situation at all, but, in all honesty, I would have loved for my Mom to go in her sleep like yours, my Mom suffered a horendous death and was a mere 50lbs when she passed on. I am so sorry to hear of your loss. I often wonder how I will manage once my parents pass on. I can't begin to imagine the pain you must be feeling, but take comfort in knowing your parents are finally reunited.

Chris: So sorry to hear about the loss of your Mom. (((((Hugs)))to you and your family during this difficult time. I surely understand what you are going through my Mom passed 15 years ago, I miss her very much. There are times when I wish she was still around, to talk to, to go shopping with and to spend the holidays with. Till this day Mother's Day is the hardest for me. Chris, atleast your Mom didn't not suffer and now with your Dad. Take care.
