...to stop being so sad. My Ella has been gone only 2 months and I feel like it's been forever since I had her next to me. I still cry almost everyday at some point or another. I can barely hear her name or see pictures of her because it breaks my heart so much.

It's so hard to feel okay without her here. I miss everything about her and when I go to where she's buried I can barely stand the fact that she is right there... right in that spot but I can't see her, I can't pet her... I can't have her back. My house is so quiet without her. This week my son brought home a story he wrote for school about how he lost the best friend he ever had. Not only do I miss her but I can't bring his best friend back. I can't fix her... I don't know how to accept the fact that I couldn't fix her.

I know that we did everything, we gave her the best life while she was here and that she isn't in pain anymore. But selfishly I want her back... even for one day.

I am so sorry for your loss and sadness. I don't know of any sure way to feel better over a loss of a furbaby, but time helps some. I lost my pit back in February and still have days that I cry, because I miss him. Ty has helped me tremendously-he keeps me laughing! I am sending hugs your way and hope that in time you will be able to smile when you think of Ella.

It is very hard losing someone you love, either fur or not..you have to decide what Ella would want you to do..keep mourning her or try to move on..never forget but remember the fun stuff she used to do..maybe it is time for a new puppy to bring some joy back to your life..a new baby will help heal your heart..when I lost JoJo it wasn't 3 months and I had to have another baby...good luck, sending hugs to you and your family!

I am sorry for the pain you are feeling. There are no words that can mend your heart but maybe some wonderful memories will help. Ella is still with you but you can not see her or feel her. I bet she would rather you smile then cry. One think to look forward to is that one day you will be with her again and she will have many new stories to tell you. Please know you are in my thoughts and I will send you lots of ~~~~Strength~~~~ to try to get through this. We are always here for you!

I am so sorry for the loss of your baby and the pain you are still feeling. There are no words that I can offer you, but be strong and remember all of the good times you had with Ella. Know that you did everything in your power to make her life as happy as possible. You and your son are in my thoughts and prayers.

Missing your best friend is an awful feeling. I don't have any great words of wisdom, I can only share with you what I do when I miss my Vex. I cry. I sit by his photo of him kissing me and I talk to him. I talk to him just like he is here with me. I cry. Dh and I talk about him all the time to keep him 'alive'. Nothing will fill that hole in your heart but over time the hole will fill with precious memories. Maybe getting another Boxer would help with your healing and he/she would bring a new joy into your life.
My thoughts are with you.
All my strength.

You were so very brave & selfless to let her go and she is healthy & free of pain waiting at the bridge so in a way you did fix her.
I know this probably is not much comfort because she is not with you.
I don't think it is selfish at all, that feeling of wanting their baby back even if only for one day. . You have suffered a big loss.
Have you thought of creating a memorial for her? Maybe something in her favorite area of your home or in your yard. You could plant a tree in her honor (we did that when my childhood dog passed away).

Ok now I am sitting at my desk at work with tears running down my face.
You are in my thoughts!

I don't want to offend or upset you in anyway, but have you considered another dog or puppy? Not to replace Ella in anyway, but to help your heart heal. You did so much good for her while she was with you, think of all the good you could do for another dog.

No dog can ever replace her, but another dog can help fill the void that is in your life. Just a suggestion. I hope you get to feeling better, I'm so sorry for your loss.
