I know how hard this is. I lost Cadence 4 months ago and I cry a lot for her. Her birthday is Sunday and I know I will cry, since I've been crying all week. It's okay to cry--it's part of the grieving process. It's just such a difficult thing to go through. In time your memories will help you smile again. I still see pictures of Cadence and some days, I completely lose it. Other days, I laugh at her little scrunched up face. It all depends on my mood. But Ella is safe and happy, and I'm sure that she misses you as much as you miss her. I got Colby about a week or so after I lost Cadence b/c I couldn't take the quiet. Skye is very quiet and she stayed right by my side, but I still needed another set of paws around the house. I thank God for Skye and Colby b/c they have given me so much joy and peace while grieving for Cadence. They lick my tears away and cuddle in my lap while I cry, and then do something funny to make me laugh. Maybe another Boxer is what you need...to help you find peace and happiness again.
Colby, Skye, and I send you lots of (((((((((hugs))))))))))) and they especially send you lots of happy wiggles.
