I got so many boxer compliments today!!

I took my boxy on some trail hiking where there is tons of people, a lot with dogs. I had one girl who thought my boxer was so cute and couldnt stop staring and she said to her boyfriend, "look, look...look at her ears, she is so cuuute."
Another mentioned how great this breed is. Another girl loved boxers and I caught up with her later with her dad, and they were sure they needed to get one. Another guy said "wow, that is a really nice brindle". It was nonstop. This was the first time I got her out in the woods with other people and dogs.

Everyone was stopping me and saying "thats a boxer...right?". I didnt understand why anyone owned something other than a boxer if they adored this breed so much. I was so proud to trot around my beautiful boxer.

She hates wet paws but was a champ and went in water today, she walked across a log crossing a stream. This was a good day, just wanted to share it with you.

It is a great feeling for us and our boxers they love everyone & eat up the
attention. If we are in our front yard & a nieghbor goes bye they say hello
to "Jake" by name I think they remember his before ours.

I know what you mean. My boxer knows exactly who ANYONE is after the first time meeting them.

Its so cool to get compliments! A lady in the drive thru at Mc D's said how cute Lily was today and another guy was complimenting on her coat at the park. I was so happy, blushing and gushing .
Haha i bet Chancey was prancing 'round lapping up all the attention

It's great to be getting compliments... sometimes it seems that people only have bad things to say about our puppies.

My husband and I discussed this last night because it seems that any time someone sees us with our Boxer they tell us what wonderful dogs they are, how much they love the breed, how good they are with kids, or how lucky we are to have such a great puppy, and we (like any proud parent) just smile and say "Yeah, we know"...and he knows it too. Let me tell you, he's quite the social butterfly!

Converters

I cannot begin to tell you how many people I have converted to boxer lovers. I have had at least 5 friends decide to get boxers after spending time with my babies. I always try to talk them into a rescue because they never really know how long their puppy stage lasts.
