I got so many boxer compliments today!!

Everyone tells me that they grew up next door to a boxer or they had one growing up. Well, I never wanted a boxer I wanted a little Dog, but I got her for my X- boyfriend, and I fell in love with her, and when he left he left without her. I wouldnt trade her for anything in the world. I'm thinking of getting another one. People tell me all the time how sweet my Maggie is- I love it!!!!

I carried a keychain for many years that said "I got a dog for my boyfriend.....it was a good trade!"

We have people in our neighborhood who I am unsure I've ever seen but who know our dogs by name! They are definitely popular. What cracks me up is the person who will occasionally have a frightened reaction (particularly as I thought Boxers were scary before I knew the breed). If they only knew! Our babies would not only not hurt a fly, they'd try to make friends with it (I've seen mine try!! Jordan gets this confused look on his face when they fly away...like 'hey, why won't you play with me?')
