I'm now 99.9% sure that my little boy will be named Logan. Just about everyone that I talked to prefers Logan over Mackenzie so as of right now, he will be Logan. :)

Thank you! Everyone told me it would feel right when I found "the one" and this one really does feel right. I was talking to one breeder who has amazing dogs, but her attitude and the way she spoke in her emails kind of put me off. She just seemed very uptight. Still, I was holding on waiting to see what would happen with her litter of pups. She waits until the pups are 8 weeks old to have them evaluated for showing and what doesn't "make the cut" are placed in pet homes. The puppies are almost 6 weeks old now.

After going round and round with her for a couple of weeks I contacted the breeder I'm going through now and she has been amazing! I asked for proof of health testing and within minutes I got it. Every email I sent her was answered within a half hour and all questions got answered. She has a lot of proven champions in her lines, which is nice, but for me personally the health testing is more important.

When I told her I was looking for a flashy fawn male, she sent me this pup's photo and I fell in love. She said that there were 5 flashy males in this litter and that she had already picked out which ones she was holding onto for evaluation. She said if I wanted this little boy, he was on the market. So, here we are!

It's just weird how it all fell into place how it did, but it definitely feels very right to me. :)

I understand what you mean about the run around with the breeder. When our white boxer Bacchus passed away we wanted to move on. We wanted to make sure that the breeder was good. Bacchus died from distemper/heart failure, we arent sure. But we wanted to make sure the next one we got a was very healthy. That was the most important thing to us because we didnt want to have to see another little innocent puppy die again. I still keep in contact with Tux's breeder. I send him pics every once in a while, just to show him how big he is getting. Also still dealing with trying to get our money back from Bacchus, since we only had him for 2 weeks when he left us. So sad!! We loved him so much.

The day we found our Tux... I was driving home from work. It had rained and as I'm driving I see this beautiful rainbow. Well I was listening to the radio and heard the song "If I die Young" from The Band Perry. Well there is a part that says "Lord make me a rainbow, Ill shine down on my mother". At the moment I felt like Bacchus was telling me something. That night we decided to get Tux. I felt that he was telling me it was ok and he was safe. Very weird but thats when I found the "one". He is a mommas boy for sure!!

I'm sure Logan will be a great puppy, I love the name and I think it fits him. He will put a smile on your face everyday. Even though Riley is gone, he will always have a place in your heart. Once again congrats!!!

Congratulations on your soon to be new addition. He is so adorable in the pictures. I love boxer puppies.

Napoleon was a rescue and we adopted him at about 1 year old. We don't have any puppy pictures of him because we don't know his background/story. I wish we had them so we could go back and see how our boy has grown over the years.
