Diabla came from my nephew. He got her the same week he join the army and I have had her since she was 4 months old. My nephew came home on leave and ask if I would have her as my own. OF COURSE I said yes. Anyway he asked if Dee could stay with him overnight. I agree to it and gave him her sweater, food, toys, and treats. Which he left in a tatoo place the first day he had her I asked what he feed her and he said his brother had some food for her. Anyway she was gone for about 36 hours. She came back filthy dirty and hungry and exhusted and if sores inbetween her toes.
I don't know if she was tired because she played so much or if she was stressed so much. My nephew said that Dee was with him the whole time. So does that mean she went to the tatoo place with him?? How healthy is that? My nephew is on his way back of Korea right now or I would be asking him some questions.

Does anyone know what to put on the sores between her toes. She will lick most anything off so I would have to be something not harmful to ingest or would it be better just to keep that area clean and dry so that it can heal normally?

I would say staying somewhere like concrete... or maybe blisters... Put socks on her with Neosporin... Daisy had a scratch and it healed right up with Neosporin... I am so sorry.. I would be PISSED!! I wouldn't care if he was going back to Korea or not... I would send him a nasty email... But I am from Ga... I am slightly not the Ga peach most people think I am... but put some socks on him if he will wear them... or cut them out and make booties with ribbons around them to hold them up and double knot them... so he can't get to them... I am sorry... Give him hugs and kisses from Me, Daisy, skin baby and tummy baby...

The area is not on the pads of her feet and they are not blister either. They are between her toes and the look kinda raw. Like they area was rubbed to much. I have no idea how something like that could happen. I really puzzled. Diabla can not stand anything on her feet. I have try sock even tied them. but she will not leave them alone until the are off her feet

I would put on some neoporsin or something along that line. Try putting in on when she is going to be a little distracted so that it stay on at least a little while. Like when she is being fed or taken for a walk. Hopefully it will be on long enough to do some good.

Ok... Maybe try it when she is napping or cuddle her in time to let it dry... if this doesn't work... Ace bandage her feet...

Maybe she stepped in something like mud (but something a bit harsher) since you know how dried mud sticks betwen their nails and hardens, least I would think that would irritate the skin in that area. Would sure as heck feel annoying trying to walk with something between your toes, maybe it rubbed a sore spot on her toes. Your guess is as good as ours until you can find out the real reason. I'd put something like vaseline or neosporin on it and cover the feet. I know they dont like to keep socks on too well, but maybe you could layer them up and would take longer to get off--I dont know, just a thought to try to help.

It could be an allergic reaction to something she came in contact with while she was "away." Just watch the areas closely; our boy Dieter has very sensitive feet (probably allergies) and often has sore spots between his toes in the summertime. Once, though, he developed a nasty staph infection between his toes and it took a couple of months to get rid of. Neosporin is good, and if she'll tolerate it, try to wrap her foot with an ACE bandage or something similar. It's best if she doesn't lick the areas too much. I would say a trip to the vet is in order, just to make sure there's no infection there. Good luck!

She could of just been very stressed out and licked her paws. I am glad to hear Diabla is your forever now. Good Luck and keep us updated.

I think you guys are right. It must of been something in step in because her nail beds were really dirty. It took me 15 mins just to clean those. Her feet are better I just keep they clean and dry after I put some Hydrogen Peroxide on them. This moring they were mostly healed just a little bit of redness left.
I know when my nephew has Diabla she is in constant play mode the whole time. My nephew does not know how to calm her down and let her relax. Meanwhile she is so excited to have new playmates that she is extra hyper.
Thank you all for you replies. I will ask my nephew what went on after he gets back on base. It take more than a day for him to travel back.

Sounds like it could be an allergy to something in the food she was eating for a couple of days. Food allergies will show up in strange ways, and if its clearing up so quickly, sounds to me like getting her back on her normal food is the key.

Or.....hmmmm....maybe she got some tattoos between her toes and they are just now healing. LOL :)
