My 15 mo. boxer was in trouble last night!! We wet to my parent's home for the night, so we took all 3 dogs. (2 boxers and 1 lab) WEll, Ruby seemed a little unsettled for some reason. Anyway, my mom went to bed around midnight, and started yelling my name to hurry into her room. Come to find out, a dog had jumped up in her bed and pooped on her side of the bed. Poor mom..her light was dim, and didn't see it, until she sat in it and then put her hand in it. Needless to say, I helped her quickly change the sheets.
It was hard to believe that Ruby did that, but there weren't any other dog big enough or able to jump on her bed. Ruby had to be the culprit....but she has never done anything like that before and we were all shocked!!!
Has anyone else experienced things like this w/ thier boxers???

Sorry to hear about the accident. I have never had the exact same experience, thankfully, but I have had housetrained dogs suddenly decide to go in someone's house....soooo embarrassing!

yeah, zeus SORT OF did the same thing at my boyfriend's mom's house. buuut i think what had happened was that he was too excited to go outside because she has two dogs of her own. that he was trying to play with. my boyfriend told me that zeus was squatting just about ready to poop in the middle of the living room floor when they saw him and yelled at him to stop. i think a little bit happened to come out but they quickly rushed him outside. i wasn't there, so maybe they really didn't know what the signal was for him to be let out.
anyway, i was embarrassed to hear about it, but they understood. he was too excited to leave maybe, i don't know....
