Boxer Insane
I posted earlier that we were getting a little fawn boy and going to name him Duke. We visited at 4 weeks, 5 weeks, and today at 6 weeks. Well, it turns out that we could really start to get a much better sense of the pups personalities at 6 weeks, and I was getting a bit worried about the personality of the pup we had tentatively picked out. He was very energetic, rowdy, liked to bark a lot, tackle his brothers, etc. Nothing bad, but definitely the crazy one of the bunch. With our lifestyle, and considering the fact that my mother-in-law lives with us and is a bit on the fragile side, I wanted a calmer dog who would be easier to train and less noisy. So I fell in love with a sweet little brindle boy who is just beautiful. He is definitely the lover of the bunch, very mellow, but still playful and goofy. Truly we could have been happy with any pup from this litter - every single one of them is stunningly beautiful. But I feel like this was a wise and happy switch, and he will really be the right fit for us. So here is Duke - the revised edition. He will come home in 2 weeks.
