I almost cried this morning

Charlie was the first pet I ever took the the vet to be fixed, always felt it was just unnatural to do that. Well, once ya lose a pet too early and they tell ya having her spayed would have circumvent it, natural or not you will do it. But, maybe I just milked my trauma and he noticed, I was about in tears dropping him off and was in tears coming back telling him over and over how sorry I was so he was only grumpy at me for about an hour and he was all groggy too. But, they do forgive you, the beauty of animals is they do seem to forgive and you always know the point at which they do it. Here's hoping she's already well on her way to needing snuggles and attention as we type!
And, know you've done a very kind thing for her in the larger picture.

The day Bauer came home (same day he was nuetered) he pretty much slept, and by the following day he was right back to normal like nothing happened (we werent supposed to let him run around and play like he normall does, that was tough to do ) He didnt seem any different towards us. I told him it was in his best interest, and he understood. :D

Thanks for everyine who responded!

Prancer seems to be recovering very slowly. She just stares at me when I come in the room, she willl not walk up the stairs, and wimpers when she wants on or off the furniture. She pretty much just laid on the heating pad for the last day and a half.

Unfortunately Prancer had to go back to the "mean" Vet today, b/c she is not able to keep any food down. This time I was smart about it and BF had to do the drop off. BF told me she really did not seem to be upset about going, just the same blank stare we have been getting lately, and she had no problem going with the Vet Tech. Theu promised to call us as soon as they know whats wrong.

Keep us in your thoughts, I'll keep everyone updated.

Sorry to hear that Prancer is not feeling too good. I hope everything goes well for her at the vet's - keep us posted. Healing vibes go out to the baby girl from Grunt and his mom.

Prancer is Better!

Prancer is feeling a million times better today, almost back to her normal self. I am busy doing lots of laundry from all the mess she made this week, and she is helping me sort and fold as always (actually not a lot of help, just a lot of laughs).

At 3:30 we are off to training: Tricks for Treats.

Oh poor mommy! I hate when I get he cold shoulder! I am very happy to hear she is acting more normally now. Come on now Prancer...you really did not want to have to go through heats anyway now did ya? Give your girl lots of kisses from me!
