Human Napkins and bubbles

I have to say that I am the proud owner of 1 sloppy boxer and 2 fairly neat boxers!! Phantom (my 9 year old) has always been a sloppy eater and we always run for the paper towels or napkins once he is done eating so that we do not wear it!! But the funniest thing is the bubbles that form on his lips and he actually has a nickname of "Double Bubble", clowicon because when he was young he had a bubble on each side of his mouth and looked so silly!!! I really think it depends on the size of your dogs jowls, because the other 2 have smaller jowls and are very neat, but Phantom has really nice and big jowls (perfect if you ask me!!) and they just seem to accumulate slobber!!

Samantha is a pretty neat girl except when I have a white shirt or light colored slacks on! Then, when she knows what I'm wearing, she goes outside, digs a little in the nice earth out there, puts her nose and mouth in it and comes in to wipe her mouth on whatever light colored clothing I'm wearing!:D

That is so hillarious!! I'm also glad Max isn't the only one with
bad manners. The hallway outside our bedroom seems to always
have little marks on the wall from eye boogers. Everyone who
visits runs right for the paper towels and walks around the house
with one. I don't know why but he seems to choose the most
dressed up person. I have become accustomed to coming home
from work and running upstairs to change into my gobber clothes
so Max and I can just relax. If we are going out I don't get
dressed untill we are ready to go out the door.

My boxer girl Sammi and Rottie Max both do the slobber thing very well, but the best is when Sammi gets the bubble thing going! I love it! I swear, when she drinking, only 60% gets swallowed and the other 40% is stuck up under her lips!!!

My bother in law was living with us while he was stationed at Great Lakes, he is a navy commander. He had to always get dressed at work because he would be respectfully covered in slime before he could get out the door. Apparently, drool strpes are not a sign of any rank. I just love when you find the drool shmear half way through the day and suddenly realize why people have been looking at you strangly. Maybe it is just our babies way of reminding us how much they love us.
