That is so funny! I've been doing this for so long, it's funny to see it written down!
Thanks for the laugh!

You mean I can move them. Me only weighng 95 lbs. Yes I find the scooch method does work. Sometimes they are like 200lbs lumps and wont move at all.smashicon

I think they actually do gain weight when they are asleep. I would sure like to know what physical principle is responsible for this phenomenon. Any physical scientists out there who can explain this one to me? Clio is about 65 pounds wide awake but I swear, she may as well be 1,000,065 when she's sleeping and I'm trying to get into bed!

Move them? Day is small enough still that I can pick her up and put her back on her bed...but Hook is another story, he gets mean and very mad if I try and move him, the worst growl ever comes out of his mouth...and that's when I pick up the sheets and roll him off!

next step: lie down in your own spot -- and FAST!

I think the only step missing from that description is to quickly get into the position YOU want to be in after the schooching and before the boxer gets a chance to steal back your spot!

I use the schooch method about once a night, and on more than one occasion Riley has squirmed back to where he wants to be before I can get myself comfy! And then I'm left hanging off the side of the bed again...

Glad to know Im not the only one with this problem.

Right up until about a month ago I was sleeping on a TWIN bed with Marley  ...yes I said TWIN! Life with a queen size is a little better. I dont know how I managed for so long before this. At the begining of the night I have most of the bed to myself with Marley at the foot weighing down my feet in case a huge gust of wind should come and blow me out of bed. When I wake up in the morning its a totaly different story. Its almost like Im at the foot of the bed and hes got the pillows!!!!!! I want to know how the coniver manages this  . I weigh more than him by about 30 or 40 lbs! To make matters even worse the cat thinks hes a boxer too and trys to pull the same stunt. Even through all the pushing and heavy sighs and looks of disgust :) I still love him more than anything lovicon
