WAT

Boxer Insane
Our family consists of me, my hubby, our son, two Boxers and a Beta fish. We live in a 3 bedroom, 2 bathroom house, it's about 1800 square feet. We have, the bedrooms, the bathrooms, a living room, family room, kitchen and dining room and a good sized back yard. I used to think it was a big house, but now I'm not so sure. We are starting to bust at the seams. Between kid toys and dog toys. Have you ever stepped on a chew hoove, Hotwheel car or a Lego in the middle of night?? A few choice words get said when that happens!!

Other than my husband of 10+ years :) I have three adult Boxers and a 14 year old Maine Coon cat. It really does not matter how many bedrooms I have because they all still try to fit on the couch if I am on it :)

Well, currently there is ten of us in the house:
Scott and I- that's 2
Tobee our wonderful boxer boy- that's 3
Jake our first dog- that's 4
Diva, Lelu, Fhloston, Korbin, and Cache: the cats- that's 9
The first four cats are three years old and Cache is 1 1/2.
Diva, Lelu, and Korbin are tabby's- Fhloston and Cache are black.

Last, but no least, there is Princess. She is our foster from Midwest Boxer Rescues.

And that makes TEN!!!

We have a split level house ~2000 sq ft. We have three bedrooms, two baths, kitchen, and living room upstairs. And one bedroom, 1/2 bath and family room downstairs. The downstairs is off limits to the dogs. There really is nothing downstairs except cat food and litter boxes. We don't even have any furniture down there and don't go down there except to feed the cats and cleen the litter boxes, oh and do laundry.

The "guest" bedroom is really the dogs room. That is where thier crates are and toys. We also have a 6 ft privacy fence around a pretty good size yard.

I guess that's it.

Lotsa love in a small space!

Our house is small, a two/one turned into a three/two. The rooms are really small. But that hasn't stopped me.

Full time occupied by:
Me
Glenn
Nola (17-daughter)
Nala (4 yo brindle)
Meta (3 yo white)
Rigo (9 month fawn)
Amaretto & Kahlua (two in-your-face cats)

At any time there could be
Austin daughter
her boyfriend
their dog
Houston daughter
her boyfriend
their two in your face cats
Glenn's two daughters
Glenn's son.

Christmas was crowded!!!

Hello!

I live on the main floor of my raised 2 bedroom bungalow (900 sq ft) with:

Me! (20)
Mark (23)
Luke (2) - boxer x male - rescue
Tony (1) - terrier x male - rescue
Winnie (3) - grouchy black cat
Tyler (1) - Mark's lovey orange kitty - Tony's chew toy (Tyler doesn't mind)
Freddy (8 months) - the invincible goldfish...8 months and counting

So that is 2 people, 2 dogs, 2 cats and one fish.

We have a fairly big yard plus outdoor run and garage. There is a basset hound that shares the yard (he lives with his mom in the basement).

We are planning to add a potential boxer show girl, Gracie (8 weeks) in one month.

I also have horses Magnum (12) lives at a stable outside the city and my other 7 horses (Darin, Taffy, Queenie, Thistledo, Minnie, Chloe and Ben) live at my parents' farm 7 hours away.:(

So - here is my question to you all:

Anyone that lives with multiple animals (any species) in a small space, how you do it?

I love having my babies around all the time. My family thinks I'm nuts! They think that all of these creatures are going to ruin my house. They think it is too much "work" - I don't see it as work at all! My fur babies are my life - so please let me know how you balance your critters in your life and keep up with cleaning, grooming, etc. I am trying to convince them that Gracie will not be a burden but a much-loved family member! I would love to know I am not the only crazy animal lady!

Thanks,

Tamara

We live in a four bedroom house, BUT three of the bedrooms are
used for storage. My husband is a pack rat, keeps everything!!
Otherwise our home isn't that big, room size anyway.
It gets pretty crowded with six dogs in the house, plus three cats!
I'll start with the smallest { who is the BOSS!} Spike is our "first-born", a seven y/o male MinPin,then there's Athena, a nine month old Rott. {and the only girl of the bunch!}, and next is Bear our male three y/o brindle Boxer, then we have Randall, a seven y/o
Dob., And Flash, a male Basset Hound that torments all the other!
And my big boy Mastiff,Gill-T! And I'm foster mom to a five y/o Coon Hound. And then there is the cats, Spook who is a eight y/o part Siamese, a four y/o Calico named Checkers, and a Tortise Shell Siamese female named Ariel! Plus I have my babies that have to live outside! Kelsey a nine y/o bay mare and her son,a
four y/o paint, last but not least is Coco, our calf who's days are numbered. :( Sometimes I think "home" is more of a zoo, but I love all my kids!:D
