Boxer Pal
Hello,
We have a doggie door for our two boxers that goes right into our fenced yard. I would never have dogs with out a doggie door now that I have one. They go in and out as they please into the fenced yard and play and do their business, it is so nice.
My younger boxer is unable to use it right now due to him recovering from a car accident. My babysitter did not let him out in the fenced yard, rather she let him out in the non-fenced yard... UGH, anyhoo that is another story...
Anyway I LOVE our doggie door and recommend it highly, but only if it leads into a fenced yard...Good luck!

Elvis only ever really goes out for the loo on his walks. He has three a day, the only other loo break is about 10pm ish before bed. he has never asked to go loo we just say 'wee wee' and if he wants to go he will jump off the sofa.

love our door

We also have a doggie door. As in another post, it has a another door on the inside that we can close (at night, etc). They have one spot in the yard where they go to the bathroom, so usually they just run out, do their business, and run back in (they always have to b with us :). I gotta say though, when it's raining or snowing...they peek their heads out to see if they want to go out or not - - it's the absolute cutest thing!!! I definetly am glad we have one. It goes into a very high fenced yard so no chance of escape. If no fence...probably wouldn't have a doggie door.

Well I appreciate everyone's responses and I am going to go for the doggie door. I have looked at them on the home depot site and they are not too expensive. I may wait a cpl more mos though until after Brandi fills out more and I adopt the other. That way I can get the right size but I think Large (up to 100lbs) will do fine.
