We're trailer trash, so space is limited. We took a part of our back yard and excavated it to 4", then filled it with pea gravel.

Daily poop runs are the rule here and, when it does get a bit ripe (seldom, but it does happen) we use a garden sprayer and spray Nature's Miracle on it.

No smell, no flies and no fleas.

I know what you mean we have the same problem being in Arizona.. The ground doesnt filter water well so everything seems to dry on top. We ended up building a run and putting two feet of peet rock and hosing it down as often as the city allows. It isnt the poop or food we always cleaned that up and still had the problem I think it is the urine not filtering into the ground even if you hose it off it dry's on top and smells so the rocks help it filter down and isnt sitting in the hot sun stinking.

Well Ali is allergic to everything so he only has a few brands he can eat. We feed him Purina one lamb and rice. It is one of the only brands he can eat were we don't have to send away for it.

That's your problem. If you feed your dog a higher quality food, you will have less and less smelly poop. I understand he has allergies, but I guarantee you there is a better choice than Purina One for dogs with allergies.

What is he allergic to?

I am glad to see that someone else understands my situation. I also think it is the urine that causes the smell and not really the pooh.
