how do we get her to come when called

Thanks for the suggestion. We thought about keeping her on a longer lead but we're afraid that the other dogs may chase after it but I think we should at least give it a try. She definitely knows the recall but she just doesn't want to leave the park. she has too much fun there.
I think it would be best if you didn't take her to the dog park until she learns to come when called. Since she now blows you away when you call come, you need to change the recall word to something else, Before you allow her off leash she should come 95% of the time. Remember that the recall should not end playtime. Make a habit of calling her and then releasing her to play again.

we were practicing in our hallway last night with a bell and lots of different treats. we gave her a tennis ball (which she LOVES and never lets go of it in the dog run) but she did last night and we kept giving it back to her. we're going to keep up with the training. I'm sure she will listen eventually.
I absolutely agree. We thought we would train in a distraction free area for a while then move on to a little more distraction. The problem is not other dogs, it's being in the dog park where she can run freely. I see all the other dogs that obey and need their owners but yet she doesn't seem and realize how she does need us.

That’s exactly what we did. We were using "come" for everything and it just didn't have an effect anymore, especially in places like the park. So now I use “heel” (but any other word will do) only when I really want him to come to me. I’ll use “come” still at home when I want him to come in the house and stuff like that (not so serious situations) but when we’re out I use “heel”. It took some training at home at 1st and I always keep treats in my pocket – one day I hope to not have to use the treats but we’re still training. Its weird but he really comes to me when I use the “heel” command. I guess b/c every time I use that he knows he gets a treat as apposed to the “come” command which I think we were overusing and didn’t always accompany a treat.Jan said:

she did really well last night too. I think letting her play with the tennis ball in the house helps since it's her obsession and she only plays with it in the park. that's a good idea, I'll try a different command too. we've been using a bell to use as a "come for a treat" command. I know she'll eventually learn cause she's a smart cookie.
