Home alone TV Viewing suggestions?

They have three channels that I leave on for them. Animal Planet, Food Network, or Nickelodeon. I guess it depends on the time of day also. If it's mid morning though, they never miss Bob Barker and the Price Is Right!

I have only had my dog for 4 days and was wondering if I was nuts for leaving the tv on! Today was the first day I left her home alone, but I had left the tv on the first few nights so she would not be lonely... I too had gone with QVC so as not to have her wake suddenly to shooting or something! (Then I would have been awake too...) I am glad to see that in my state of whacko I am in good company

We leave on Animal planet, Disney, or Nickelodeon! Chief actually likes cartoons! Every time Sponge-Bob comes on he sits in front of the TV and tilts his head!!!

I left Waldo inside today,as the weather has turned freezing.He's usually out on the covered in porch with plenty of shelter,a coat,blanket(s),comfy bed,water bowl,toys,etc,etc.But today I thought I'd thoroughly spoil him,so inside he stayed.
Well when I got home,one cushion off the lounge was on our bed,looking a little soggy,hadn't been chewed though.His sheepskin in the lounge had a few little pieces chewed off it,these little bits were still on the lounge floor,and his 2 blankets were strewn around the hallway.
As far as the sheepskin goes,it doesn't look like he had eaten any
He was eating normally tonight and his poo looked normal too.
Our bed also looked a little rumpled,I asked him if he'd been there,his reply was to jump straight up on our bed and do a little burn before leaping off

So tomorrow the lounge door will be firmly shut,no sheepskin diet for my Waldo
