Boxer Pal
Our names are Liz and Phil. We have been married for almost 13 years and have 2 beautiful boys.
The second half of our family consits of 3 male chihuahuas and one crazy male boxer. Yes i am one of those crazy people who dress their dogs up in cutsie sweaters and call them babies instead of dogs. When our outside dog spike ran away we decided to buy our sweet, crazy, fawn boxer. We had to decide on name. Well my first 2 chihuahuas i named fred and ricky after I love Lucy. Then my sweet fred had pups with the neighbors chihuahua and we got Spartan out of the deal. (we call him sparkles hehe) So we decided on zeus to match our little spartan. Worked out perfectly because as luck would have it, they became best friends. So what happens when you have a boxer who lives eats and sleeps with dogs who weigh about 14 pounds all together? You wind up with a boxer who thinks he is a chihuahua. Yep i have one of the first boxeruahua. A 50 pound lap dog. Its crazy, our little dogs think they are bigger then the big dog and the big dog thinks he is smaller then the little dogs. Its a circus i tell ya. =)
Zeus is one of the best dogs i have ever had. So loving and care free. His best friend is a 4 pound dog and a cat. They are the rebels of the pack. Absolutely loving with the kids i have (16,11). Such a pretty boy and very smart. (am i gushing yet?) Im a at home mom and it does get lonely at times. I can not tell how much joy my little babies bring to my life. When they say the boxers are the peter pans of dogs i think they hit the nail on the head with zeus.
