[Gypsys Mum]

Hi Everyone, First off WHAT A GREAT SITE! THANKYOU to the people who put this together.
Well it's taken me years but 4 days ago I FINALLY brought home a Boxer!
We have been living in the USA for the last two years and decided that the kids where old enough on our return to get a large dog. My husband agreed with me last year, after all my research that indeed they suited our lifestyle and that we where prepared for 'the other sides'. We have always had pets and I can't imagin a home without them.
Well our new baby is Gypsy. She's 9 weeks old and was the tiny one of the litter. (Refuse to use the R word!) Yes I was in trouble for that. *sigh* BUT you just know the one for you don't you? She was half the size of her brothers BUT is 10 feet tall in attitude, full of spunk and beautiful.
We aren't getting much sleep, well she spent one night in my daughters bed and we ALL got a GREAT nights sleep, not too sure about letting this go on though.
I love her to bits, as everyone does.
As soon as our things get here from the States, I'll be able to get some pics up. I'm just on a laptop at the moment.
LOVE looking at all the other pics here. There's NOTHING as beautiful as a Boxer is there?

Welcome, Cherie! I agree that this is a wonderful site ~ it's the brainchild of Ollie who lives in the South of France so we have him to thank for all this.

Can't wait to see photos of Gypsy! If it gets you a good night's sleep, I wouldn't worry at all about her sleeping in your daughter's bed (unless you really don't like that idea). As you'll discover here at BW, a healthy number of Boxers share a bed with their humans.
