Hi! New to Boxerworld

Hi! My name is Amy and I am the mom to 4 two legged kids and 2 four legged kids...Both of my 4 legged ones are Boxers...both are also rescues...my male is appr. 5-6 yrs and my female is 3yrs. I must say I am totally addicted,. Growing up the daughter of a Vet we had a lot of different animals we fostered and I was exposed to a lot of different breeds and the one that always stuck with me was the Boxer...So after my husband and I got settled into our life we started researching the boxer and about a year later ended up with Spike...then about 2 mos. ago I found Starr and we brought her home...I think given the chance I could easily have 5 or 6...LOL...I joined Boxerworld so that I could continue learning more about my favorite breed...thanks for reading!

Thank you for the welcome! With the houseful we have I stay pretty busy but I found Boxerworld and couldn't resist joining...we don't have very many people owned by boxers in my area...lots of small dogs and retrievers...so I don't get to talk "Boxer" very often...this will be fun! I look forward to hearing from all of you as well as rambling on myself *smiling sheepishly*...

Hi, my name is Luann and I am also new to boxerworld although I am the proud mom of a 2 year old flashy fawn male named Ekim. I have been reading posts for 2 years but I have just started posting myself. I have never owned a big dog before and when my son brought my dog home at 9 weeks of age I almost had a coronary. He was already the biggest dog I have ever owned even at this young age.Ekim was to be my sons dog and was only going to be with us for a few months, but I fell in love with him. When my son moved out of the house last year I couldn't let Ekim go, the bond we shared was so great that the vet said he would be heartbroken if he left me.Needless to say, so would I.So ekim stayed with me and my son setteled for one of our cats.I am hopping to meet many new friends through boxerworld. My only question is how do we chat with each other? Is it only done through posts? If you can assist me I will be greatful. Hope to hear from you soon and good luck with allof your kids, fur and skin.
