Sue and Shelley
Boxer Pal
We are new to the Internet/chat sites and tripped across this wonderful site! We are very much boxer lovers, Shelley has had two boxers, and I shared in the wonderful life of our last little girl called Tahi (That's Maori language for 'number one'). Sadly we lost our lovely girl, a red and white spunk, a couple of months ago. We came home and found her curled up in her favourite spot (on the couch with her head on a pillow - of course) passed away. The post mortem said she had a twisted stomach and had died quickly, but the vet said he had never seen a boxer so young, fit and well suffer from the condition. Our Tahi was only 2 and a half years old. We are still at the 'never going to get another dog ever again' but slowly realising our lives need the joy only these monsters seem able to bring. We live across the road from a beautiful beach with a huge 'doggy beach' for about 2 km (It was of course Tahi's personal beach that she permitted her slaves and various other fortunate people to walk and enjoy!), so it seems a shame not to have a playmate to share the wonderful world we live in. It has been wonderful to read about other boxer owners and realise we are not unusual!!!! In fact we seem very normal in the boxerworld scheme of things.
