My name is Megan and my husband and I have a 17 week old deaf white boxer named Tyson. He is ridiculously adorable and such a sweet boy. He is learning sign language pretty well, but this is a learning experience for us, as we've never had a deaf dog before. I have had several dogs over the course of my life. Growing up I always played an active role in training our dogs, but my husband is still kind of timid about training. Sometimes I feel like I am training a puppy and a man! Tyson is very calm for a puppy, which we think we might be able to partially attribute to his deafness. We live in Southern California in a house we just bought with Tyson, Roscoe (a 1.5 yr old chihuahua/dachshund mix) and our 2 cats Suby and Samson.
