Im so excited that I found this website today! I am sitting in my office on my lunch break, browsing the web & I come across BOXER WORLD... And think "Ok, I have to join this group". And I am so glad I did!
My name is Melissa & I live in beautiful California. I am 23 years old & recently married my highschool sweetheart! We are loving married life. It is such a blessing sharing each new day with the person I love. We decided that since we were married young, we would wait awhile to start our family. My husband Rob, was raised around dogs. I was raised around cats. So the thought of a puppy to me, wasn't too exciting. But at the same time, I was excited to add a little creature to our new family. So Rob, bought Bruiser for me for as my 22nd birthday gift. And I can honestly say, he was the best present I have ever received!!! (Even better then the barbie dream houses & dolls I got growing up!) I never imagined I would love a pet as much as I love him.
We love Bruiser & he is our baby! Our neighbors, friends & family often tell us that Bruiser is the most spoiled, well behaved & much loved dog they have ever met. And it's true. We spoil him with kisses, body rubs, treats, walks & toys. But we also have taught him obediance from the first day he came into our home. So he respects our home & us, very well. He hates nothing more then dissapointing his daddy & mama. We never had problems potty training him and he never chewed on things he wasn't supposed to.
We are very much considering adding a little one to our family. But no, not quite ready for a baby (almost, but not just yet!)... We want another 4 legged baby... A BOXER! I want a girl, since Bruiser is a daddy's boy. And since we have a male fawn, we'd like our next one to be brindle. They have gorgeous markings! So... maybe in the next few months you will see a picture of Bruiser with his new sister. I will let you guys know!
