I'm so glad I found this site! I have a rescued boxer (maybe a mix, but it doesn't show so I'm not sure) that I got just before Christmas. Sally is probably around three months old and is a pretty fawn. She seems to be about half-trained - only a few accidents in the house in the last two weeks and she knows what "sit" and "outside" mean 
. She was "dumped" off at my parents house - the former owners probably realized she wasn't going to be a small dog and got rid of her in the easiest way they could think of, by leaving her out in the country to starve or get killed by coyotes (we'll see that a lot in the next month or so and you should see the poor bunnies dropped off after Easter, I can't take everything home, but my Mom manages to find homes for most of the animals that are dropped off). My two step-daughters (7 and 10) are thrilled with Sally and we're all learning together.
So far I've found lots of great information here and I know I'll be using the site a lot in the future.
