Hey everyone, my name is Jon, yesterday (July 30th 05) I took delivery of my new baby! Jake! He is a 4 month old masked fawn, this is my first boxer and I’m in love, such a smart dog, I brought him home to spoil him. He slept in my bed last night, all night, I woke him up about 5:30AM so I could get ready for work, and he used the bathroom outside, and came back in. After I got dressed I tapped on the top of my carrier and he walked right in. He wouldn’t stop whining after I left, so we had to put a piece of my clothing in the carrier, and he went right to sleep with it. Don’t worry, I got home and we played non-stop, he’s pooped right now. He is yet to have an accident in the house and is doing great with other dogs, cats and kids. I went to the pet store and took him with me, I am having a problem getting him to walk on a lease but just have to be patient. I was in there for over 2 hours because everyone wanted to see Jake and pet him, especially the little kids. I did talk to other owners of boxers there, and they have nothing but good things to say about them. I bought him a Kong and some other bones and toys to keep him entertained. He snores! is this normal? or should I talk to the vet about his breathing? its just a light snore, but i was sleepin in the car early with him, and my girlfriend hit me and told me to stop snoring! turns out, it was jake!
