He's Just the CUTEST pitbull...

I have seen supposedly pure bred boxers that look Pit. The snouts are more longish and pointier and with little jowl. And I also saw that Pit Bull book in the pet store with a dog on the cover, that looked very much like a smushy faced and jowly boxer. I stood there and flipped thru the book thinking it was a mistake, and there were pictures in there of both looks....was very wierd. I adore the boxer face. This is one of the reasons why when we were looking for our puppy I insisted on seeing both parents...

It is crazy how fast they grow! Just in the short time that this thread has been active, Madison has grown so much and her appearance is constantly changing. She now looks A LOT more like a boxer. Her snout doesn't look as long and her cheeks are more droopy. I need to post some more recent pictures. Since she is my first puppy, I am totally amazed at how fast they grow and how fast they change. My little girl is getting big on me!! You mean they don't stay little for ever????? :D

Don't feel bad. My roommate has a pit bull (full-breed) and I have a white boxer. Everyone is more afraid of MY BOXER than of her pitbull, because they think mine is the pitbull!!

Incidentally, her pit is the sweetest guy in the whole world, but it does not change the fact that mine is boxer, not an attack dog.

Go figure! =)
