Boxer Booster
Hi Guys,
It's been a while since I've been here for help but here goes...Yesterday we took in a 3 yr old female brindle, Bella, from rescue to be her forever home. She is the sweetest, most gentle boxer I've ever had. We currently have our almost 2 yr old male boxer, Otto, who we got a puppy. He is just one big ball of energy but does not have alot of experience playing or being with other dogs. He WILL NOT leave her alone..he is contantly licking her ears, face or any other area that might present itself...she has been very patient with him but does give a warning growl or bark (no teeth showing or back up) to let him know..ENOUGH! (I think we girls can understand...) So far every hour that goes by just gets better and better. We just took them to the park to run for a while and they had a blast. Any ideas how to make this transition better for both of them? I just want everyone to be happy...Thank you so much for listening..
