Great Gatsby
Boxer Pal
We've decided it was time to start expanding Gatsby's boundaries. Usually he stays in his crate inside the laundry room, and since I work from home I take him out for potty and playing before lunch and dinner, and then he stays with us in the family room until bed time. This week I decided to start leaving him in the laundry room with the gate in the doorway. And he HATES it. Cries, whines, tries to jump on top of the gate, has taken out his bed and ripped it apart. If I put him inside the crate in the same room he is fine. I leave him toys, bones, praise and treat if he is not crying, but nothing helps.
I think he is a big boy now (9 months) and I want him to have more freedom than he has in the crate, especially if we want to go out at night.
Does anyone have any ideas?
