Try Green Tea

Hi! It almost sounds like Skye has an ear infection. It's probably a middle ear infection. If she is shaking her head alot, and they can smell rather awful. The vet had given Buu, our AB, a cleaner and some medication drops. He hated it and didn't want anyone near his ear. I have also been cleaning his ear lately with green tea. I know it sounds odd, however the infection hasn't come back. I brew the liptons green tea and wait for it to cool, then wash the entire inside of his ear with the tea soaked in a washcloth or a napkin, making sure to get it inside of his ear. It also seems to work wonders on his skin. He used to itch alot, so I started giving him "sponge baths" in the green tea. It really seems to cure any skin ailment.
Good Luck!

Here's some info:

The cleanser is called "OtiCalm"
Product Description: OtiCalm is an astringent, general cleansing formulation for use in the ears of dogs and cats.
Ingredients: Water, propylene glycol, poloxamer 407, salicylic acid, benzoic acid, malic acid and eucalyptus oil
they also give a website: www.dvmpharmaceuticals.com
Hope this helps!
if your unsure of it I'd just try buying a box of Lytons Green Tea and washing the ears with that.
Good Luck!
