Ok.. I know that Skye is not a boxer but you guys are full of information!
We got Skye a couple months ago and I just found out that they didn't know anything about this dog as far as shots... Now I come home Saturday and my house reeks!!! I mean stinks like old socks or something... I checked every where and comes to find out its Skye... She STINKS! You guys know I am pregnant and my nose can smell twice as much now... I don't know what her problem is... Daisy doesn't stink... But she is a boxer she wouldn't cause she is my baby and we take care of her... I feel awful about this dog... CAN YOU GUYS HELP???? I have to pay out of my pocket to get all of her shots because they were to lazy and neglected her... Plus Daisy doesn't like her... I feel awful....

What kind of dog is Skye, if you had her a couple of months & you are just smelling her, maybe she rolled in something outside. Hanley

What shots hasn't Skye had that would make here stink? I didn't read in any of your other posts what kind of dog she is, did you rescue her from a bad situation?

You said "Daisy doesn't stink... But she is a boxer she wouldn't cause she is my baby and we take care of her..." I am sure you take care of Skye, right?

Is she long haired? Does she need a bath more often then a boxer?

I hope everyone can help give you suggestions to make Skye and you more comfortable while you are pregnant!

She is a Wiemereyner... We rescued her from a BAD situation... Family didn't take very good care of her... I called the vet today and they asked if she shook her head alot. I said yes... She is going to the vet in the morning because she needs to have this seen about...This dog was neglected... She was left outside in rocks to walk around in and she had a sty in her eye... I am trying my best but its hard when you work all day and have to take care of a skin baby and DH is in Iraq... I am just worried about her... Daisy is warming up to her but still shows her that this is Daisy's house

Cody used to shake his head and rub his ears all the time. His ears smelled so bad, well and his breath. We got it all worked out though. Hopefully Skye just has an ear infection and the vet can help you.

I am sure you are so stressed out. Your dh will be home shortly!

Several years ago I wanted a weineramer dog, even once we had Cody, don't know why but I did.

Even Cody's last day here, Duke knew it was his house. Skye and Daisy will work it out.

Sounds like maybe an ear or uterine/vaginal infection(?) I can't imagine it has anything to do with shots.

I remember how overwhelming some smells could be when I was pregnant, you have my sympathy! You have a lot going on...hang in there. Hopefully some ear cream will put everything right. I'll keep you, DH, and your kids of both kinds in my thoughts.

Cody if you were in AZ I would certainly love to give you Skye... She is a PRINCESS.... I think Daisy makes fun of her when its raining... I love this dog to pieces... But Daisy is my true love.... Skye was someone I couldn't get attached to but still wouldnt harm her because she is beautiful and she is good with my daughter... But I think if we find someone to love her as much as we do we will get her healthy and give her to a family who cares... But I took her in because my heart said too, and she is great its just my family is growing...

Thank you Linda... I am hoping that the vet visit doesn't break me tomorrow... She has to get ALL of her shots... and then next week get her rabies... I am sure a little doggie ice cream will help her heal... But Daisy gets fixed in 2 weeks and I almost starting crying when I was told I had to leave her... But I will have Skye... But Skye just isn't my cuddle bunnie at night...
