Help! My sandals stink!

HEY! I'm a little offended over here!
As I just wrote in the plastic surgery thread, I have very short, wide feet. When I find sandals that fit, I wear them until they're down to the (smelly) nubs. Olly, did my coworkers ask you to write that last post?!?! Cmon, tell me the truth!!!

Put them in a plastic bag and place them in the freezer for a day or so. It kills the bacteria that is making the smell.

Are you sure cold can kill that bacteria?
I think microwaves are better but they might destroy Josh' s favorite sandals

Josh, my best friend's uncle is a truck driver. He told me they dry out used coffee grinds and then sweep out their truck back with them after a smelly load. Maybe you could try that with the sandals?

I can relate!

I must say everyone's reply is nice but as a woman who has horrible problems with smelly sandals (I'll admit it!) they are all useless!! My fiance has bought me many new pairs, but none live up to my old ones!! He trys to throw out my old stinky ones but I won't let him!! He even teases that the puppy won't go near them!! But, I must say I have tryed anything and my only permanant solution is to get new ones:mad: !! GOOD LUCK

My guy uses Dr. Shcolls(sp) shoe spray in his baseball cleets, It works well, Before I found this spray, he had to leave them outside,Now he's allowed to keep em in the house..*LOL* So it does work!
