I am so sorry to hear about Roxy. That is much too young to lose your little boxer girl and I can imagine you and your family are devastated.

Don't be too hard on yourself...like you said, she'd been out that long before and just fine. There was no way to predict this was going to happen.

I am so very sorry to hear about what happened to Roxy. Don't be too hard on yourself - you did everything you could for her. Your story sounds familiar to me because I experienced a lot of the same things - paralyzed, epileptic, couldn't walk- with my first boxer pup, Tucker back in January of this year. Take a look at my post titled "Unknown cause of death in Puppy." It explains everything that happened. It's a horrible feeling when your baby is very sick and your nor your vets can find out why. With Tucker, we hospitalized him on a Monday night and Tuesday morning my vet called and said that now he was blind and couldn't swallow and he was very painful to the touch. I was devastated. I blamed myself, thinking that he had gotten into something he shouldn't have. Thank you all for the kind words..

I appreciate all of the kind words. The hardest part is knowing that when I went to work yesterday morning, my dog was absolutely fine and now she is gone. Again, I appreciate all of the thoughts and prayers. I have had numerous dogs in the past (growing up as a kid). My mother raised Great Danes. None of those other breeds come close to comparing to a Boxer. So good with kids, so wiggly, always willing to give you a slobery kiss.
