Depending on how our visit in a couple of weeks with the breeder and puppy goes. We may be bringing home a new family member a brindle boy. He is reddish brown with black stripes and not flashy. Just a small part of his chest, tips of his toes and a spot behind his nose are white. l have started looking at names for the puppy.

The three leading names are:
"Brodie" a right grand name, for a new member of our clan.
"Ozzy" Because the name rocks.
"Mosi" After one of my favorite NFL players that just passed away in February.

My last two dogs were named Indy a 14 year old lab that lived a long and happy life and Monty our boxer who we lost last year to cancer.

Which one do you like, or different name suggestions are welcome. I would like to find a name that is two syllables and ends in a vowel sound.

That was Chris Henry. Cincinnati Bengals.

Mosi Tatupu played for the New England Patriots and a short stint with the Saint Louis Rams.

I like Mosi. It is unique.

Mosi Tatupu played for the New England Patriots and a short stint with the Saint Louis Rams.

Mosi was a Fan fovorite in the 80's and a special team and short yardage specialist. I have PAT's season tickets in the end zone 3 rows from the field and the fans in that endzone were often refered to as Mosi Mooses back then. Whenever he would make a big ST hit or short yardage first or touchdown. The section would cheer "M" "O" "S" "I" "Mosi"

My wife originally liked Brodie but I think she is coming around to Mosi.

I have to admit it was a little wierd opening this post. I just lost my "Indy" in October and we got a new brindle boy last weekend. When I saw the first name on your list it just jumped out. We named our boy Bode. Brodie is so close to that. So BRODIE is my vote
