I have a 2 year 4 month old female fawn with black mask called Lola. She is 22" tall and 55lb very lean and toned with muscle. She is very active and agile however new years day I was laying in bed and my wife let her in the room but instead of jumping up on the bed and licking my face till I cannot breath as usual she kept walking round the bed. She put her front paws up but could not get up I thought she was just being lazy so reached down to help her up and she squeeled. We looked her all over and cannot see any swelling, cuts or sore spots we pressed all over. She is not as bouncy as usual, its like she has no power in her legs. We first thought it was the back ones but after keeping a careful eye on her the last few days we think its the front and maybe the shoulders. She is eating and pooping normal. I am giving her a few more days to see if she gets better on her own but if she doesn't I will be taking her to the vets. She walks normal and without pain she just yelps when she tries to push herself up using her front legs. Does anyone have an idea what could be wrong with her I was thinking a pulled or torn muscle at first but maybe a fracture? though she doesn't walk any different or with a limp. Any ideas would be greatly appreciated I just want my crazy bounce all over the place Lola back.
