Help, he's driving me insane!

our Bruce isn't to bad with this he just sits at our feet under the table We always save him a bit at night but he taught that he dosn't have till we've finished and he is always took to the kicthen to eat it although i do remember about 4 months ago we left a chicken on the kicthen side he was being so quiet He was probally absouletley loving it he hsd pulled it of the side with his paws and was tucking right in to it We never lreave food about anymore

You could leave something on the table you know he hates... like a lemon or something like that. I would bet after a couple of times, he would stop.

Koda started this and oh my is it driving me crazy.

Yesterday, your going to laugh at this, I have my card table out because I am making my Christmas cards. Well I went to my bedroom to get something and come back into the living room and where is Koda? He's on top of my card table just standing there. :eek: Not too sure about what he did because the table was wabbling. I asked him what he was doing and he just looks at me with those puppy eyes of, I'm totally innocent.

Then last night, my daughter ran to grab something from the refrigerator and Koda decides lets eat off her plate, within seconds, he got put in his crate for a time out. Dad wasn't too happy about it at all. :mad:

I think he hit his terrible two.:rolleyes: When do they usually do that anyways?

I'm lucky as my two have never done this but, this is what our Trainer from Intermediate Obed. told the class:
He said he had an Akita that would surf and grab from the table and he would put the dog on lead hooked to his belt and then sit to eat and the dog would be in a down/stay under or next to the table. He said he would put the lead under his foot so the dog had to stay until they were done eating. Only after the family was done he would let the dog up and then feed the dog. He said it took a couple weeks but worked wonders. And as in a pack the LEADERS eat first so the dog also learned that everyone at the table was in a higher position then he was and listened better.
Just something to try.
