Boxer Pal
Hi there! After 4 long weeks of waiting we just took home our 8 week boxer!
We have a 4 year old chihuahua male that lives with us, and they were introduced in our backyard, everything was fine. Except the boxer wants to play and our chihuahua is laid back and not as socialized. But for safe reasons we don't let them play. Is that bad or should we just let them? I'm scared my chihuahua will get boxed in the face and get injured. But i do want them to be buddy buddy! Any suggestions ?
I also wanted to ad that my chihuahua likes to taunt her which is not very nice either.
It's only been 6 hours since they met and it seems like i have to watch them both ALL the time! And i just hope that as days go by they will get to know eachother. And my boxer will learn to play so rough.
If you have any suggestions at all that would be awesome and a huge weight off my shoulders.
And I hear that when you walk them together , that would help them aswell.
But Since my boxer is only 8 weeks, i don't think i can walk her until she gets her last set of shots. any other recommendations for that?
Sorry for making this long i just want this all to work out and be the best of friends
I don't want to pay for ceasar milan ( as great as he is!)
Thanks for your answers!!
