Boxer Pal
Merry Christmas everyone! I have been reading quite a few of the forums and quite a few of you have written about your deaf white boxers. I realize quite a few of you only realized the puppy was deaf after you brought your bundle of joy home, but I have an odd request. I would actually like to seek out a hard of hearing or deaf boxer puppy. Let me explain...
My grandfather is 88 years old and quite hard of hearing. He lives with me now and I realize what a damper his hearing impediment puts on his mood. I own two boxers of my own and would LOVE to add a third to our bouncing Boxer family...but I'd like to find a deaf one that my grandfather (whom I lovingly refer to as PapPap) can relate to. I think it would brighten his spirits and liven our home up even more. My question is, how do I find a deaf boxer? I would like to find a puppy and most rescues only have grown boxers. While I would love a grown boxer as I love my own, for my grandfather's purposes, I'd like to find a new puppy.
Any help would be greatly appreciated!
