Well...I've made the move and I have a home visit scheduled with the boxer rescue for next SATURDAY! Woohoo! Step by step, gettin closer! Sometimes, I can't get over much I am willing to go through. These crazy Boxer dogs have got me wrapped around their little fingers. I was willing to MOVE out of my apartment, away from my independence, just to adopt a rescued Boxer soul. WOW! I can't wait!

Well...it's all set! The home visit is scheduled for 4pm tomorrow 
I'm so excited! The boxer rescue rep even said that she may try to arrange to bring that boxer girl I am interested in...woohoo! I am getting so good at being patient. I hope things go well with her meeting Gino, my friends boxer, if she gets to come with the rep.

Well, Raspberry got to come over...she got to spend the night and will be here all day today . She is really tiny and very cute and sweet. Things have gone REALLY well. She and Gino played and seem to get along fine BUT, she is a dominant female as it turns out and Gino isn't liking that so much. He wouldn't even jump up onto my bed this morning with her on it :( . She's not an aggressive dominant but my first concern is for Gino to be happy with whoever will live here. My friend and his son and Gino might be going to Michigan this week for spring break. If they do, the foster mom will take Raspberry for the week until they get back so that she wouldn't have to be alone during the day all week while I am at work. What I would like to do next weekend is bring my sister's submissive goofy boy Zeus over to see how he is around a different personality type. If he seems happier, I will look for someone with Zeus's personality type maybe. If Raspberry were going to be an only dog, it would be all over with, she would be mine, but I have have Gino to be concerned about and I want him to be happy. I'm pretty sure that she would fit in just fine with us, but I don't want to rush into a decision here, I just want to make the right choice for everyone's sake. What do you guys think? Could Gino be happy with a dominant female? If she has bonded to me this much in a day, what do you think it will be like after a month or so? I am just so afraid of creating a bad situation here ya know, this territory is a little new to me.
