Boxer Pal
Hello everyone!! My name is Brittany. I am 19 years old and from southwest Virginia, USA. I married my best friend, Brandon, on March 1st, 2008; what a great year it has been! I am currently enrolled at a local community college, studying for a degree in business administration. I work as a bookkeeping clerk in a bank, and I love my job. Most importantly, I am a Christian! =)
My husband and I have an 8 month old boxer named Jake Diesel. He is our baby, and our only child. He was born on August 22, 2008 (only 4 days before my birthday, which is on 8/26!). He is fawn with a white chest, white paws, and a black mask. His tail is docked, but his ears are still floppy! =)
He was recently diagnosed with aseptic meningitis. He has started treatment with antibiotics & steroids, and we are praying for a full recovery. I am hoping to find more information and support regarding this disease in boxers-- it's the first time I have heard of it, and definitely my first experience with it.
