Houston Bash

Hey Storri,

I'm glad to hear that someone is plannin a bash in Houston. I am very new to this website but I would love to be able to take ash to meet his fellow boxer pals. I live on the North Part of Houston around the greensoint area. So is August 5 a set day for the Boxer Bash or just a thought.

What park would we go to?? Memorial is pretty big.

Hi Jennifer... I am in the Jersey Village area! August 5th has been mentioned because of Susan from Dallas being here and bringing Betty to the bash. It has not been set in stone, but seems to be a good date (I think). I have also had others mention meeting once a month if possible. That would be fun!

Seeing as how we do not have a dog park here as of yet (it is in the works, but not approved) Memorial may be a good location. The are plenty of places there to meet. Maye others may have some more suggestions as where would be good and if August 5th is still a good date.

Need to do some research I guess as to where a good spot would be.

Let me know if you have any other suggestions!

We could also meet at the pond at William's (Transco) Tower in the Galleria area. I like to take Rocky out there and there are always a lot of other dogs out there. It is sort of an unofficial dog park. I have yet to see another boxer there.

Colin that sounds like a good place to go. I have never been there. I usually just take Joe to the High School baseball park to run and play (I can let him loose there), but have not taken him anywhere where other dogs are.

Jennifer how does this sound to you?

Transco Tower is not a dog park and if you go off leash you will get fined.

Go to www.dogpark.com and look up Houston.

Maybe Memorial park is our hope? Whatever we do we might have to keep them on a leash? Unless something comes up.

Keep your fingers crossed!!

Hey cool website, but we still dont have a dog park. I would love to be able to take him somewere were he doesnt have to be on a leash but if not then Memorial is good, I havent taken him to a school there is always people there and I cant let him run. I have taken him to that park off of I-10 kinda in the Heights..I think its Studemont park. The time I went I saw 1 othr boxer and alot of Rott's there. Well let me know what you think?

Hi Jason,
I hope that Molly is doing alright. I have a brother that graduated from aTm a couple of years ago. I also have a sister that goes there now. She is on the track team. How old is Molly?

Hi to all you Texans!

I try not to say Howdy, but yes I am an Aggie!

I am in Bryan, College Station's twin.

Welcome Colin, Rocky and Maddie!

Jason, I hope your Molly is doing better. We just got a male, locally. I would be interested to know if they were from the same litter. No health problems here, so far.

All you Houstonians, keep us posted on bashes there. Austin, too. I have daughters both places (Rice & Austin Community College) so those are well-beaten paths for me.
