Hello Boxerworld,
I've been lurking on this forum for several years and finally decided to join. My wife and I recently lost our boxer due to a tumor on his spleen and his heart. He was 11 years old.
We are totally devastated. Although, we are thankful for the 11 great years we had with him, dealing with the pain of his loss is tremendous.
We did not want to rush out and just get another dog, knowing that we cant replace the one we just lost, but we really miss the companionship.
I got my first boxer when I was about 13 years old and that was all it took for me to be hooked for life. Since then I've had a total of 4 boxers.
I've gotten lots of good information from this forum over the years and look forward to finally becoming a member.
