Hi, I recently got a 13 week old fawn female Boxer, named Nellie. She's adorable and I can't take her anywhere without people stopping me to say so. She's really affectionate, and surprisingly chill for a boxer. Loves people, loves other dogs (though she does love smacking them in the face) and she's so cute I can't bring myself to kick her out of bed and put her in her crate at night.

This is my first puppy as an adult. I grew up with Akitas and Mastiffs, and I got a Boxer because a friend also has a female boxer and I absolutely love that dog! So far things have been great. Potty trained in less than a week, and she'll comply with pretty much any command if I have treat in my hand (I can't get over how smart she is.)

I'm looking forward to being a member of this forum.

Welcome to BW from Grand Rapids, MI. Tyson is also our first boxer; he's been with us for almost 5 years now. We tell ourselves everyday that we wanted a dog with personality and we got more than we bargained for Wouldn't change it for the world though.
