Boxer Pal
Hello fellow boxer lovers! I am really excited to have found this site and hope that I can get to know you all and your lovely boxer children :) . I currently am blessed to have two fawn boxers in my life. Dozier who is 2 years old and Comet is 1 1/2 years old. My boys keep me on my toes but I couldn't imagine living without them. It is often the thought of being able to get home to them that helps get me through my work day. They are both still very young and full of energy. Always playing and rolling around together. I have raised Comet since he was 6 weeks old and took Dozier in when my parents had to move and their landlord would not allow a bigger dog. I have always been around boxers for as long as I have been in this world. When I was born my parents had a fawn boxer named Duke who watched over my sisters and myself until we moved from a garden home to a two story home when I was 6. At that time Duke who had never experienced steps broke his leg falling off the deck steps and was never able to recover. After the loss of Duke my parents loved boxers but never felt they could replace their first boxer love. A friend brought by a few brindle pups and my whole family fell in love. We picked out a wrinkly, squinting eyed cuddle loving pup and Garth became a part of the family. Garth passed away at the age of 6 taken by cancer. For my parents anniversary a little over a year after Garth passed away my sisters and I introduced Dozier to my parents and he instantly had a spot in our family and our hearts. About 6 months later Dozier's mom had another litter ready for adoption and I picked out Comet. Comet is definitely a mommas boy, which I don't mind. I enjoy cuddling with him and he gives the best hugs. I love both my boys so much and hope to learn more to help make their lives as enjoyable as they make mine.
