Hello yall...this is my official introduction. My name is roy and im a first time boxer owner although i've had my current brindle boxer female for over 6 years. Her name is molly and she is the love of my life. I got her since she was 10 weeks old and its been the most satisfying 6 years of my life. Now, there is an unfortunate reason why im joining this board....my molly has just been diagnosed with central diabetes insipidus. With an onset of pu/pd symptoms at a later age...every doctor ive talked to is very concerned that she has an underlying brain/pituitary tumor. I dont have pet insurance and an MRI of the brain plus any subsequent biopsy/radiation treatment can cost up to $10k and there is no way i can afford that. I've already spent $2k just on testing alone to get to this point mainly to rule out every other possible underlying cause minus a brain scan. I guess i joined this board for a little emotional support and to see whether anyone else is going thru the same issue of dealing with a possible major medical problem and not have the funds to do anything about it. Now im gonna post this problem in more detail in the health section so nobody has to answer any of this here, but thanks in advance for listening and i hope in time i can cope with this a little better... With yalls help of course
