Greetings from Montana. We have one 8 month old, beautiful boxer boy and 3 lovely children who all together cause a lot of chaos. We got our dog as a puppy, since we've been married he is our second puppy and our third dog. We rescued a beautiful reverse brindle in Washington and she had separation anxiety so we did the only sensible thing and got a puppy. He was a brindle and the most comical dog I have ever met. I have always been a dog person, and grew up with boxers so a boxer was my only choice when I got a house of my own. My dh is not an animal person at all, and grew up with cats, but prefers to have no pets. Consequently, the care and training of the dogs has always been my task, which I enjoy. Boxers are like kids, they are just as stubborn and argumentative and inventive in their antics, but it is such a joy to see them play together. I was hoping to train our current puppy to be a service dog of sorts because my son has low vision. But I think I'm going to pass due to the amount of training. Instead we opted for a bi colored dog, so that he shows up on both the dark floor and the light carpets.
We enjoy walking to school and going on hikes, the kids like watching tv which we try to limit to once a week. They still ask though. We try to eat high quality foods, grain free and sugar free for every body, meats and veggies for the people. I wish I could say I feed raw but we just can't afford it right now.
