Yeah...that does suck. We lost one of our babies a week ago today so I understand what you mean about the emptiness in a full house. There is a definite presence missing. I'm sorry you guys are going through this. Anyhow, hugs to you and your family. Welcome to BW. It's a great place to come to vent, question, learn and laugh. The people here are great.

Harley and I take our walks out back now.
We visit Lacy's resting spot every day.
She is buried next to our Collie, Duchess, who we lost 5 years ago. :(
Harley is eating less now, I suppose I am too.
The weekend is here now so I will have more time to spend with him.
We'll probably have some friends over and toast Lacy this evening.
They are Boxer lovers too, it was Harley who inspired them to get Maximus, a male fawn, several years ago.
They knew Lacy well and miss her also.

We are truly sorry to hear of your loss there are no words than can be said to make anything feel right. Where we live it is so close to the road so zoey has no off lease time at home. So we treat by letting her run at my grandfathers who has lots of land or my mom's where it is all fence.

I'm so sorry to hear about the tragic loss of your Lacy - hope it is some small comfort for you to know that we all share in your sorrow. Many here have lost a beloved friend as you have, and those of us who haven't can feel the pain just imagining how awful it must be to go through what you are going through.
