I am soon to be bringing my two boys (Boxers Oscar - 9 yrs old - and Evander - 8 weeks old) to the Dallas area (Irving), around 01 October . . . how does yours do in the heat?

Hiya LINBACKR Im in this area too. I have an 8 month male boxer. He seems to do ok in the heat. Sometimes i worry about him "sunbathing" because i had heard they dont do well in the heat. But he always seems to know when to come in. I have a doggy door so he pretty much comes and goes as he pleases. If a doggy door was an option for you, id highly suggest one. Since it is Texas (dry, hot, flat, hot,humid...why are you moving here again? ) you dont have to worry about alot of the cold seeping in or anything. Zeus also loves the water so that also helps cooling the "little" guy down.
