Well, Brock came home from the vet this morning. He breaks my heart. We did not hear from the cardiologist as of yet but I don't see how he can pull the miracle we need to make this better. Our mans breathing is so bad. It breaks my heart. We both have agreed we will give these meds until Monday or Tuesday....if he doesn't get better we will go ahead and put him to sleep. How do I get the strength to say goodbye. How??? Does the hurt ever go away???

My heart is breaking for you! I'm so sorry!!!! It's not an easy thing to do... and I'm not sure all the strength in the world is even strong enough! But time does heal the pain; even though you think it may not at the time. You'll have amazing memories and the peace of mind knowing that he is no longer suffering. But I am sending healing vibes your way in hopes that the meds will work for him! Keep us posted! You're in our thoughts!

I'm so sorry that your introduction was on such a sad note, Erin. We know your heart is broken. Everytime this day comes to your mind, just try to switch over and think about the happy times you've shared. It's such a blessing that you got 11 years with your baby. Just keep reminding yourself that you were the best thing for Brock and that's why he lived that long. Thank goodness he did not suffer for months and months on end but enjoyed his last months with you. Picture him now, running free in the wind, ears flapping, that big wide grin across his adorable face in a pain free world now, forever!
